Nestled at 7,000 feet in the majestic San Bernardino Mountains is Cedar Lake Camp, a 270 acre year round group camp and retreat facility that is arguably the most beautiful group camp and retreat facility in Southern California.  Located in Big Bear Lake and surrounded by the San Bernardino National Forest with a private lake, the camp provides many amenities for groups in a captivating mountain setting.

Cedar Lake Camp also offers many activities for groups including canoeing, swimming, hiking, volleyball, basketball, campfires, disc golf and an exceptional challenge course.


Facilities include an outdoor amphitheater and first-rate meeting hall with movie screen and audio/visual equipment.  Lodging options include lodges, bunkhouses and cottages - all in a beautiful mountain setting.


The owners of Cedar Lake Camp also direct a week of  summer camp for children in the 3rd through 12th grade during the last week of July.  If you have a child that would like to attend a great week of camp, but do not have a group affiliation, this may be the answer.

The powerful lure of Cedar Lake Camp brought the movie industry which began filming in the mid-1930's.  Stars such as Elvis Presley, John Wayne, Henry Fonda, Hayley Mills, Ed Asner and Arnold Schwarzenegger have all starred in and/or produced films on the premises.  Television shows such as "Bonanza",  "Lassie", "FBI Story", "Hart to Hart" and Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen "Camp Cutthroat 2 - Alton's Revenge"  were also filmed at Cedar Lake.
